New XR studio
for i24NEWS

i24NEWS has entrusted Aski-da Creative, in partnership with Shandilab and Miraxyz, with the creation of a new hybrid studio combining LED walls and augmented reality, designed for the production of a daily talk and news program. After several feasibility studies, the channel decided to abandon the green screen in favor of an environment combining physical LED screens and virtual AR extensions, offering spectacular results: a visually tripled ceiling, animated graphics, and dynamic packaging to enhance the editorial content.

The technical setup includes a PTZ camera, a Technocrane, and an LED wall, all operated using the Aximmetry solution based on Unreal Engine 5, for ultra-realistic visuals. The infrastructure also includes an LED banner designed to be scalable and convertible into an XR wall according to future production needs.

As part of the 2024 US presidential elections, Aski-da Creative once again collaborated with i24NEWS and Shandilab to produce all the augmented reality graphics. Our teams designed an interactive map and dynamic histograms incorporating real-time data, allowing viewers to navigate between percentages and numbers of electors, with a customized visualization to highlight key states and enrich the on-air analysis.
