For the 2026 Milan-Cortina Winter Olympics, France Télévisions has deployed a unique technical system connecting four competition venues to the main set installed at the IBC in Milan.
This system, based on synchronized robotic cameras from XD-Motion/EVS, augmented reality environments, and remote green screen sets, allows athletes and guests to be “teleported” in real time to the central studio, with perfectly controlled visual continuity.
As part of this large-scale operation, the teams at Aski-da Creative contributed to the graphic integration of the set extension and the operation of the AR layer on site, ensuring the keying and application of the masks necessary for the illusion.
This precision work was carried out alongside teams from France Télévisions, Videlio, XD Motion, EVS, Zero Density, and FreeLens, providing immersive and seamless coverage of a global event.
