To accompany the launch of the new T18 television channel on TNT, two companies in the Aski-da group pooled their expertise to work alongside integrator CTM Solutions: Aski-da Creative and Aski-da Broadcast.
Aski-da Creative was asked to help T18 integrate the graphic identity designed by Étienne Robial. After analyzing the supplied elements, the team proposed and deployed Automate-IT, Embrace‘s trailer automation solution, which ensures optimized content production while maintaining consistency with the channel’s charter. This deployment had to take into account constraints linked to T18’s hardware infrastructure, which was still being made available at the time of launch.
To meet these challenges, Aski-da Creative installed the Automate-IT solution within the customer’s AWS environment. This choice enabled the system to be delivered production-ready a month before the channel’s launch, giving T18’s teams the time they needed to train and produce a sufficient volume of trailers in advance.
Aski-da Creative also ensured the integration of the solution with the other tools in the T18 environment, notably the Louise channel traffic. Wrapping projects were optimized for efficient automation, and customized interfaces were designated for different user profiles. Last but not least, dedicated support was set up during production start-up to guarantee a high level of responsiveness.
At the same time, Aski-da Broadcast focused on setting up the on-air media management workflow. The team coordinated the reception of programs from production companies, and set up the FTP accounts required for file exchanges, in close collaboration with the BCE service provider in charge of playout. Aski-da Broadcast also organized the provision of trailers generated by Automate-IT.
The launch of T18 on DTT on June 6, 2025 was supported by Aski-da Creative and Aski-da Broadcast. Our expertise enabled us to respond effectively to the challenges of graphic automation and content management upstream of the on-air launch, in line with the processes defined by the customer and his integrator.
